This Privacy Policy describes how Pix3l Pioneer LLC ("AI in the Lead," "we," "us," or "Company") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information when you use our website and services at aiinthelead.com. By using our platform, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Consumer lead forms: Name, phone number, email address, ZIP code, service needed, description of work, and preferred contact method
- Service Provider accounts: Business name, email, phone, address, service areas, trade category, and payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store credit card numbers)
- Reviews: Reviewer name, rating, review text, and email for verification
- Account customization: Business descriptions, logos, photos, color preferences
Information collected automatically:
- Device and browser information: IP address (hashed for rate limiting — we do not store raw IPs), browser type, operating system, and device type
- Usage data: Pages visited, time spent, referral sources, and interactions with forms and features
- Bot detection data: We use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms from spam and abuse. Turnstile may collect device and interaction signals to verify you are human. This data is processed by Cloudflare under their privacy policy.
Information from third-party sources:
- Business directory data: We collect publicly available business information from Google Maps Places API, including business name, address, phone, website, ratings, review counts, photos, and operating hours. This information is used to populate our directory.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To route your service request to matching local Service Providers based on trade and location
- To send you confirmation of your request and follow-up communications
- To operate, maintain, and improve our platform and services
- To process payments and manage Service Provider subscriptions
- To display business listings and reviews in our directory
- To generate and host landing pages for subscribing Service Providers
- To detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse
- To comply with legal obligations
3. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only in these circumstances:
- With matching Service Providers: When you submit a service request, your name, contact information, and service details are shared with Service Providers that match your trade and location. This is the core function of our platform.
- With service providers/processors: We use third-party services to operate our platform, including:
- Cloudflare (hosting, security, bot protection, DNS, edge database)
- Stripe (payment processing for Service Provider subscriptions)
- Resend (transactional email delivery — lead notifications, account communications)
- Google Maps (business data sourcing for directory listings)
- As required by law: We may disclose information if required by law, legal process, or government request.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
4. Consent and Communications
By submitting a lead request form, you expressly consent to being contacted by phone, SMS, and email by AI in the Lead and matching Service Providers regarding your service request. Standard message and data rates may apply for SMS communications.
You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or by emailing hello@aiinthelead.com with the subject "Opt Out." Opting out will not affect delivery of leads already in progress.
5. Data Retention
We retain consumer lead information for up to 24 months from the date of submission to support lead quality analysis and dispute resolution. Service Provider account data is retained for the duration of the account plus 12 months after cancellation. You may request earlier deletion by contacting us (see Section 7).
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. These include encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), hashed IP addresses for rate limiting, secure password storage using PBKDF2, JWT-based authentication, and Cloudflare's enterprise-grade infrastructure security. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate information
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal retention obligations
- Opt-out: Opt out of marketing communications at any time

8. Cookies and Tracking
Our platform uses essential cookies for authentication and session management. We use Cloudflare Turnstile for bot detection, which may set cookies or use browser signals to verify visitors. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. We may use basic analytics to understand page views and usage patterns — this data is aggregated and not linked to individual identities.
9. Children's Privacy
Our platform is not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a child under 18, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
