Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AI in the Lead — the website at aiinthelead.com, the websites we host on its subdomains and on customer domains, and our directory services — operated by Pix3l Pioneer LLC ("we," "us," or "Company"). By using our website or services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

1. About Us

AI in the Lead builds AI-powered software for local trade businesses. Our primary product is AITL Instant Site: a website our systems generate for a business from publicly available information, offered to that business as a paid subscription (Sections 3–4). We also operate a Texas home-services directory that connects homeowners ("Consumers") with local trade businesses ("Service Providers") through directory listings, service-request routing, and guides (Sections 7–9).

AI in the Lead is not a contractor, service provider, or home services company. We do not perform, supervise, or guarantee any work done by Service Providers listed on our platform. Service Providers are independent third parties, and any agreement you enter with a Service Provider is solely between you and that provider.

3. Instant Site Previews

We may generate a preview website for a business before that business asks for one, using publicly available information such as the business's name, trade, city, and phone number. Preview websites are clearly labeled as AI-generated previews, are excluded from search-engine indexing, and carry a visible link that allows the business to have the preview removed immediately, without creating an account. Content on preview and claimed sites is AI-written and may contain errors; subscribers can change any of it after claiming. Images on preview and claimed sites are AI-generated illustrative imagery — they are not photographs of the business, its staff, or its work.

If we built a preview about your business: you can ask us to correct anything on it by emailing matt@ai-in-the-lead.com, or remove it yourself with the "Remove it" link on the page. Removal takes effect immediately and is permanent — we do not regenerate a removed preview. We may email you about your preview; every such email includes a one-click unsubscribe, which we honor permanently. If you believe a preview misuses your business name or trademark, email matt@ai-in-the-lead.com and we will address it.

4. Instant Site Subscriptions

Claiming a site is a monthly subscription billed through Stripe:

Custom domains (Pro): your Pro subscription puts your website on your own custom domain in one of two ways.

Bring your own domain. If you already have a domain, you keep ownership of it, pay its registration and renewal costs, and create one DNS record at your registrar following our instructions. We provision the hosting and SSL certificate for it.

We register one for you — included. If you don't have a domain, we can register one you choose at no extra charge, and we pay its registration and renewal fees for as long as your Pro subscription is active. To automate this, the domain is registered through our registrar account with Pix3l Pioneer LLC as the registrant of record, held for your benefit. It is your domain in every way that matters: we will not use it for anything except hosting your site, and you may take it with you at any time — email us and we will transfer it to a registrar account in your name, free of charge. (Registrars enforce an industry-wide 60-day lock on transferring newly registered domains; if you ask within that window, we complete the transfer as soon as the lock lifts.) You confirm that the domain name you choose does not infringe anyone's trademark or other rights, and you are responsible if it does.

When a Pro subscription ends: if we registered the domain for you, we stop paying for renewals. We will hold it until its current registration period ends, and transfer it to you on request during that time at no charge. If you don't ask for it and don't resubscribe, the registration is allowed to lapse when it expires.

Instant Site subscriptions are flat-price with no contract or setup fee, renew automatically each month, and may be canceled at any time through your account dashboard or the Stripe billing portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no partial refunds are issued for the remaining days in a billing cycle. If a payment fails, you have a 7-day grace period to update your payment method before we pause the site. We do not guarantee that a website will produce any particular volume of visitors, inquiries, jobs, or revenue.

When a subscription ends: your license to the site ends with it. We may unpublish the site or revert it to an unclaimed preview, and we may detach a custom domain from our hosting. For domains we registered on your behalf, see the transfer and expiry terms above — we never hold your domain hostage. If you want copies of photos you uploaded, email us and we will help.

5. Your Content and the AI Editor

Subscribers can upload photos and branding and can direct our AI editor to rewrite and publish site content. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, and display the content you upload and the edits you direct, for the purpose of operating your site. Content you upload remains yours.

By uploading content or directing the AI editor, you represent that:

You agree to indemnify us for claims arising from content you supply or edits you direct. We may refuse to publish, or may remove, content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or defamatory, and may suspend accounts that repeatedly submit it.

6. Contact Forms on Sites We Host

Contact forms on websites we host — both aiinthelead.com subdomains and custom domains — send their submissions to AI in the Lead. We receive the submission, store it along with evidence of the consent shown on the form, and relay the inquiry. These submissions are not matched or routed to other businesses in our directory. As stated on each form, submitting it means you agree to be contacted by phone, text, and email about your request; message and data rates may apply.

7. The Directory: Consumers

Consumers may browse the directory, submit service request forms, and use our guides and cost resources at no cost. Service requests submitted through the directory are matched to Service Providers by trade and location and routed to a matched provider. By submitting a directory request, you consent to being contacted by AI in the Lead and the matched Service Provider by phone, text, or email regarding your request.

8. Leads and Per-Lead Billing

Every lead we deliver to a Service Provider must meet these standards:

Leads are exclusive: each lead is delivered to exactly one Service Provider. By saving a payment method with us, you authorize us to charge it automatically for each delivered exclusive lead at the price for your trade published on aiinthelead.com/pricing. Every delivered lead is billed; we do not offer free trial leads.

Bad-lead credits: if a delivered lead has a wrong number, is outside your service area, or asks for a trade you don't do, we credit it. Request the credit from your account or by emailing matt@ai-in-the-lead.com within 7 days of delivery.

To stop per-lead billing, remove your saved payment method or email us — there is no contract to cancel. Leads are opportunities, not guaranteed jobs or revenue. We do not guarantee that any lead will result in a closed sale, completed project, or any particular outcome.

9. Legacy Directory Software Plans

Some Service Providers subscribe to legacy directory software plans billed monthly through Stripe:

Monthly plans price software only. Leads are billed separately per delivered lead (Section 8) and are never included in plan pricing. Legacy plans renew automatically each month and may be canceled at any time through your account portal or by contacting us, with cancellation effective at the end of the current billing period. If a payment fails on any subscription, we provide a 7-day grace period before pausing the associated service. We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days' written notice to active subscribers.

10. Directory Listings and Content

Business information displayed in our directory is sourced from public data (including Google Maps) and from information provided by Service Providers. We make reasonable efforts to keep listings accurate but do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing. Service Providers may update their information through their account dashboard.

11. Disclaimers

Our platform and all content are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not endorse, verify, certify, or guarantee the qualifications, quality of work, licensing status, insurance coverage, or reliability of any Service Provider listed on our platform. Consumers are responsible for independently verifying a Service Provider's credentials, licensing, and insurance before hiring.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pix3l Pioneer LLC, its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the platform, any website we host, any lead received or delivered, any interaction with a Service Provider or Consumer, or any work performed or not performed by a Service Provider.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to these Terms or the platform shall not exceed the amount you have paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

14. Intellectual Property

We retain all right, title, and interest we hold in the AI in the Lead platform, our templates, designs, code, branding, and the selection and arrangement of the websites we generate (including Instant Site previews and claimed sites). Generated sites are licensed to the subscriber for the duration of their active subscription. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform or templates without written permission. Content you upload to your site remains yours (Section 5).

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Dallas County, Texas, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
